The Bird Art Sculpture

The city of Varanasi (Benares) sits entirely on the western bank of the holy river Ganges. The eastern bank, a vast uninhabited floodplain, attracts hundreds of thousands of Siberian migratory birds each. These brown headed gulls swarm over the river, feeding on offerrings of visitors rowing up and down the river and are as ubiquitous to the city as its temples, holy men and its delicious cuisine.
