We are thrilled to announce that after the resounding success of the Delhi and Mumbai chapters, we are bringing the action home to London where Benares and Indian Accent will collaborate once more to create an unmissable experience. This unique collaboration between two titans of Indian Gastronomy promises to be a treat for culinary and fine dining enthusiasts as two of the most renowned names in Indian gastronomy, Chef Shantanu Mehrotra (Indian Accent) and Chef Sameer Taneja (Benares) join forces to present the very best of refined Indian cuisine.

Benares draws from the best of British ingredients to craft its Indian-inspired creations, Indian Accent remains focused on sourcing and elevating local ingredients from across India, while Executive Chef Shantanu Mehrotra brings the best of India’s regional cuisines to the table, blending them with innovative methods to create dishes that honour the past while embracing the future.

What makes this collaboration truly unique is how these two restaurants—rooted in similar culinary philosophies—bring their distinct contexts and settings to the table. The curated pop-up menu will feature both vegetarian and non-vegetarian courses such as sour apple pani puri, dahi aloo with purple potato and gari, samosa ragda tartlet, chukundar chop, and hiran ki boti. Desserts include banana halwa tart, daulat ki chaat, and rose petal chikki, paired with sparkling chai.

This event will be held at Benares Restaurant & Bar in Mayfair.
